A visual journal and journey.
A collection of moments and memories.
This is how I like to think of this blog (or my Flickr stream). I love to capture life as it happens, when it happens. Sometimes it might take some time until I feel that a picture/memory/moment is ready to leave my personal archives and to be shared with anyone else.
There is no specific theme I follow (at least that’s what I think), so there is a little bit of everything in my photos. Anything around me could spike my interest and be worth a picture to remember it. That said, I do love trips and travels, books and being outside in nature as well as in urban settings; and I will document most all of it. And still, there is so much more to life than that. All of which I try to capture as well.
Regarding photographic gear, I’m not a camera snob; I think every medium that lets you take a picture is a good one. I do love film and old cameras, but I don’t think this is the only or right way to take photos. There are brilliant pictures taken with cheap cameras or low resolution mobile phones. And there are “shitty” pictures taken with expensive gear. It really doesn’t matter what kind of camera you use. The only thing that matters is taking a picture of whatever inspires you or feels special to you at a given moment. At least that is my philosophy.
